John Violanti, PhD
John M. Violanti, PhD is a presently a research professor at the University at Buffalo, NY and a veteran of the New York State Police for 23 years. He is the author of Police Suicide: Epidemic in Blue ( 2nd Edition) as well as many peer-reviewed articles. Dr. Violanti has also written and edited eighteen books on police stress, trauma and suicide.
