Noel Lee
Monster Cable Products, Inc, founded,1979, by Noel Lee, who was a laser-fusion design engineer at Lawrence-Livermore Laboratory. An audiophile & professional drummer, Noel left his laboratory work in 1974 to perform with his band Asian Wood. His music passion became the essence of Noel's professional life, shaping the destiny of Monster & the development of Monster Products today. He first discovered the importance of speaker wires in creating quality speaker performance, Noel's responsible for the biggest breakthroughs in audio performance. Some of these achievements include the world's first computer speaker in 1985, launching Monster Power's sophisticated line of power conditioning products & the launch Beats by Dre which revolutionized the high-end headphone industry. In 2012, Noel Lee received a Lifetime Achievement Award & nine innovative technologies awards at Plus X Awards®, in recognition of a company dedicated to creating products enhancing quality sound in music further.
