Heather Yocom
Heather Yocom is currently working as a Nurse Flow Manager in a busy family practice clinic in south central Colorado. She completed her first lactation course while working on her BSN in 2001. The following year, she had her first baby and experienced many of her own breastfeeding challenges. This was the beginning of her pursuit to gain the skill and ability to come along side new moms and give them the tools they need to successfully reach their own breastfeeding goals. She earned her BSN and MBA from the University of Colorado-Colorado Springs and has been passionately helping moms and babies with breastfeeding for seventeen years. She earned her IBCLC in 2013 and has had the privilege of working as a RN lactation consultant in two different hospitals. Heather has been married for twenty-two years to her high school sweetheart and has two beautiful children. She enjoys serving along side her husband who is in full time ministry.
