Chip Bach
Chip Bach is the General Manager of Turfway Park. He has been at the helm through the many changes the track has gone through, including several ownership changes. Now, with Churchill Downs taking the track under their wing, big changes are coming for the aging track in Florence, Kentucky. Churchill has plans to rebuild the outdated grandstand and put in a new Tapeta racing surface to replace the Polytrack it installed for its cold weather racing schedule. Chip will reflect on the early days at Turfway and its impending resurgence under the banner of Churchill Downs.
