Started in 1985, Simsbury Associates, Inc. was founded as a real estate development and management company, with a wide range of residential, commercial, and historic restoration projects. In 1996, Boyle founded Landmark Senior Living Communities to act as Simsbury’s assisted living operational arm and to ensure delivery of quality housing and personal services to seniors residing in facilities developed by the Company. As chairman of Simsbury, Boyle has been involved with the development of over fifty real estate projects during the last thirty-two years. He has established Simsbury as a premier regional healthcare company, providing assisted living care services at four individual locations in major Massachusetts markets, as well as in Wisconsin and New Mexico. In addition he provides drug and alcohol detox and rehabilitation in Kentucky. In 1997, Boyle founded his first software company, BangZoom Software which provided business-to-business inventory tracking software. Following the success of BangZoom, Boyle started Landmark Technology Partners in 1998. Dba under the name Jaccomo, the software provides accounting and operating software to the financial community, servicing a variety of banking customers including Associated Bank, Huntington, Bancorp South, Foothill Securities and Alpha Card/American Express. In 2008, Boyle founded his latest software effort – ShazzleMail. Passionate about privacy, Boyle started to sense the erosion of an individual’s fundamental right to privacy and vowed to do something about it. After assembling a team of developers, Boyle and his group went to work on ShazzleMail, the world’s first email application that uses a smartphone or tablet as the server. This decentralized architecture means ShazzleMail never gets a user’s email and therefore cannot make a copy or turn over the contents of an email. Privacy restored. The company is now expanding into private chat, and electronic payments. Boyle holds the majority stake in ShazzleMail, and recently received U.S. Patent 12/176,747 for software architecture that harnesses peer-to-peer networking to facilitate data transfer in secure and private communication. He is also listed as Co-Inventor on two additional ShazzleMail U.S. Provisional Patents; 61/329,974, which is a system and method of delivering confidential electronic files directly from sender to receiver, and U.S. Provisional Patent 61/474,511, which is for a hardware device whose persistent network connection enables direct and secure data transfer without the use of a server. Boyle spends time on both coasts with headquarter operations in Braintree, MA and Scottsdale, AZ.
