Wendalyn Bartley
Wendalyn Bartley is a composer, sonic oracle, creative vocal coach and sound energy practitioner living in Toronto, Canada. For over 30 years she has pursued an artistic practice dedicated to awakening the embodied voice of the feminine, the earth, and a reunited humanity. Her compositions are rooted in the contemporary chamber and electroacoustic music traditions, extended vocal practice and soundscape studies, with influences from ecofeminism, mythic story, and energy healing modalities. She earned a M.A. of Music in composition from McGill University in Montreal, Canada, and is certified in the SoulVoice method created by Karina Schelde. Her concert music has been performed and broadcast internationally, and she has collaborated with artists across disciplines including film, video, dance, radio art, installation, and theatre.
