Dr. Cole is the founder and driving force behind Englewood Spine Associates, a state-of-the-art medical facility that provides expert care in minimally invasive cervical and lumbar total disc replacement and endoscopic targeted surgery. Dr. Cole is seen among his peers as a leader in his approach to chronic neck and lower back treatment. He has performed more than 10,000 successful procedures. Dr. Cole’s conservative care has landed him on several lists including: Castle and Connolly Regional Top Doctor (2016-2019); Jersey’s Top Doctor (2017-2019); and New York Metro Area Top Doctor (2016-2019). With more than 24 years of experience providing spine care and spinal surgery, Dr. Cole received a B.S. from Columbia University, and went on to complete his medical studies at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. He is affiliated with Englewood Hospital, Hudson Regional Hospital, and The Valley Hospital. Dr. Cole is a board member of the Metropolitan Surgery Center. He also is part of the Adult Spine Surgery Fellowship at Temple University Hospital and the Pediatric Spine Surgery Fellowship at Shriners Hospitals for Crippled Children. Dr. Cole has appeared with Dan Rather on CBS News to discuss Kyphoplasty and with Max Gomez on NBC News to discuss Nucleoplasty. When he is not researching and experimenting with the development of robotic surgical tools, you’ll find Dr. Cole on the golf course working on his drive, putt, and beating his best score of 81.
