Roderick Hames

Rod is a 29 year veteran teacher holding two graduate degrees in the area of Business and Computer Science Education. He has a deep passion to serve above and beyond with a style of leading with relational teaching. He currently teaches over 200 students a day in three courses: Financial Literacy, Digital Design and Coding, and Entrepreneurship. Rod has multiple signature programs that demonstrate his ability to lead and serve his students at a high level of experiential learning. Currently his events such as Zaxby's Coding Challenge, Money Talks, Shark Tank, Pitch Coaching, College and Career Interview Day, and Crews Consultant Day bring in over 300 guests to his classroom each year. He also serves as sponsor for his school's Coding Club, Tennis Club, Running Club, F.I.T. Girls, and Team Intramural Sports. Rod also directed the sold out Brookwood Cluster STEM summer camp for the past 6 years. In the past two years his partnerships and programs have received over $7,000 in donations.
