J R Perry
Mr. J.R. Perry grew up with a love of music from the age of 3 and wrote his first song at 7 years of age. He was the first Black Urban Talk show host. His show was rare, raw, and exclusive. In addition to his roles as a music executive, voiceover coach, designer, humanitarian, the multi-tasker became a single father and takes pride in raising his son, who suffers with Sickle Cell Anemia. He would go on to raise money for the disease and has become a Sickle Cell Anemia Advocate. Over the years, JR, a Detroit native who states his perseverance and multiple roles would lead him to work with the crème de la crème of the entertainment industry. He grew up living and loving the entertainment industry and Perry has spent his entire life involved with the music industry.
