Dr. Lionel Bissoon
Dr. Lionel Bissoon is nationally renowned for introducing Mesotherapy, a French Medical Specialty to the USA in 1999. Although he has received national attention for his pioneering work in Mesotherapy, Dr. Bissoon also specializes in Anti-Aging Medicine, Hormone Replacement Therapy, Nutrigenomics, Weight Loss, and Cosmetic Medicine. The most recent additions to the practice are Intravenous NAD and Oxone therapy. Doctor Bissoon received his Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine from Des Moines University, Iowa in 1989. He went on to complete a rotating internship in medicine at Humana Hospital, Hallandale Beach Florida. After completing his first post graduate year he studied one year of General Surgery at Monmouth Medical Center in New Jersey. Upon completion of his Surgical Internship, he joined the US Air Force and received training in Aerospace Medicine. He served as a flight surgeon in the U.S. Air Force and was stationed at Charleston Air Force Base until being Honorably Discharged in 1992. After leaving the Air Force, Dr. Bissoon completed a Residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Mt Sinai, New York in 1995. He began his practice in Physiatry with an emphasis in Sports Medicine.
