Joe Perkins
Joe Perkins, President and CEO of Mobex Global, has been providing transformational and financial leadership to automotive suppliers for over 30 years. He attended undergraduate school at Michigan State University and an MBA from Wayne State University. Before joining Mobex Global, Perkins served as Chief Financial Officer of Joyson Safety Systems, formerly known as Key Safety Systems. In this position, Perkins supervised the global purchase of a significant portion of Takata’s assets. Following the closure of the Takata transaction, Perkins oversaw the successful integration of the $7 billion combined Joyson/Key Safety enterprise, as well as Joyson’s transition from a private company to a publicly listed company on the Shanghai Stock Exchange. Prior to joining Key Safety Systems, Perkins served as Chief Financial Officer of Nexteer Automotive where he drove several transformative initiatives, including a pivotal role in Nexteer’s successful IPO on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.
