Debra Jay
Debra Jay is co-founder of a private practice and is founder of Structured Family Recovery® services and training. She previously worked as an addiction clinician for the Hazelden Foundation and she was also the first coordinator of the older adult program and served as facilitator of the family program. She has served on the Brighton Hospital Board of Trustees, the St. John Providence Health System Care Continuum Board, and presently sits on the Dawn Farm Board of Trustees. Debra regularly appeared on the Oprah Winfrey Show for 3 seasons as an addiction expert. She has been on The Dr. Oz Show and has been writing a newspaper column in the Grosse Pointe News for over 20 years on issues related to addiction and the family. She is also an author to 3 books, including her most recent: It Takes a Family: A Cooperative Approach to Lasting Sobriety.
