Josh Opatowsky
Josh holds an MSW, LCSW, and starting this month, he will be pursuing a doctorate in social work through Tulane University. Currently he is working as an Independent Licensed Clinical Social Worker online through BetterHelp. He has have worked as a social worker in case management, community mental health, and hospital social work and he has also worked as a psychotherapist and clinical manager in a mental health hospital. He plans to focus his doctoral work on incorporating mental health and addiction education into the public K-12 education system. Specifically, his area of focus in the addiction field is food addiction. He works with clients who struggle with food addiction and he encourages them to incorporate 12-step programs as part of the recovery journey.
