Aleix Valls
Aleix Valls is the CEO and Co-Founder of Liquid. He’s a mathematician, civil engineer and also holds a Ph.D. in Computational Fluid Dynamics from the Technical University of Catalonia (UPC). He started his career as a researcher at the International Centre for Numerical Methods in Engineering. Later, he joined The NODE Company, a consulting firm specializing in innovation. Following a period managing the LOOP consultancy office in Dubai, Aleix became CEO of the Mobile World Capital Barcelona (MWCB), an initiative with which he was linked since its creation in 2012 until July 2017. During his time at the MWCB he highlighted the launch and consolidation of the 4YFN, a global digital innovation platform with more than 50,000 members and a seed investment fund of 15M. At Liquid, Aleix acts as senior advisor for digital business and digital transformation for companies such as Zurich, Colonial, Roca Junyent and the World Economic Forum.
