Malcom Stern has worked as a group and individual psychotherapist for more than 30 years. He is Co-founder of Alternatives at St James’ London and runs groups internationally. His approach involves finding where the heart is and helping individuals access their truth. In his groups, he creates an environment of trust, integrity and community, where participants can become skilled in relationships and communication . Malcolm co-presented the Channel 4 series on relationships Made for Each Other in 2003 and 2004 Malcolm’s new book Slay Your Dragons with Compassion, inspired by the suicide of his daughter, Melissa describes 10 practices for thriving in an unstable world, all distilled from his thirty years of intense group work and his learnings from her death. The book is filled with practical exercises, which are combined with real and compelling stories from the therapy room.
