Cindy S. Brown, LBSW, CDP
Cindy Brown is the Training and Resource Manager at Home Instead Senior Care in Albuquerque, part of the Home Instead network which provides non-medical home care services for seniors. In her role at Home Instead, she works closely with seniors, families and caregivers to facilitate “aging in place” and when managing difficult dementia related behaviors. She is a leader in providing innovative solutions to the challenges seniors and their families face. With nearly 30 yrs experience in various long-term care settings she often speaks to family and caregiver groups throughout the Southwest region. Cindy is also a founding member of the Parkinson’s Connection of Central New Mexico. She received her Bachelor of Science in Social Work from the University of Tennessee and has been a Licensed Social Worker since 1998 and a Certified Dementia Practitioner since 2014. Her passion remains being an advocate and resource for the families & seniors she serves.
