Oona Laurence
Tony Award winning actress Oona Laurence is best known for originating the title role of Matilda Wormwood in Matilda the Musical on Broadway. Laurence received the prestigious Tony Honors for Excellence in Theatre award for her performance, alongside Sophia Gennusa, Bailey Ryon and Milly Shapiro who shared the leading role. The cast also received a Grammy Award nomination for ‘Best Musical Theater Album.’ Laurence has since expanded to the silver screen and added a diverse array of film credits to her resume. Recently, Laurence starred in the coming of age comedy Big Time Adolescence, which premiered at the 2019 Sundance Film Festival and was released on Hulu in March 2020. Laurence also starred in the Netflix thriller Lost Girls, alongside Amy Ryan, Miriam Shor and Thomasin McKenzie.
