When Marion met Marshall Rosenberg in 2000, she was deeply moved by the heart, simplicity, and elegance of his Nonviolent Communication (NVC) process. She was lucky to study with him until 2006 and has researched the history and impact of NVC for the past 16 years. Marion is writing a book - The Evolution of Nonviolent Communication with Rosenberg's publisher, Puddledancer Press. Marion Little, MA Dispute Resolution, is a Center for Nonviolent Communication Certified Trainer. She is a Mediator Trainer, a Restorative Justice Trainer, and has taught university courses in dispute resolution, reflective practice, and collaborative leadership. Marion has served as executive director for social service charities, and specializes in addressing institutional violence. She fosters safe sanctuary in relationships and communities and has applied the principles in the wild for 20 years. It keeps her rooted in unflinching honesty and unconditional empathy.
