Londe Selmon-Givan
Londé Selmon-Givan is a licensed physical therapist with over 30 years of experience treating patients, with a focus on geriatric, pediatric, and bariatric patient care. Londe is the founder and director of J&R Healthcare Associates, a private consulting practice specializing in rehabilitation, quality management in skilled nursing facilities, and community-based senior programs. Her guiding philosophy and approach to rehabilitation stems from an unyielding singular belief: quality health care is not a privilege, but a universal right. J&R Associates utilizes various research and evidence-based therapeutic protocols, practices, and strategies to enhance functional independence. Through her practice, Ms. Selmon-Givan also works to develop programming to improve balance among elderly patients, thus preventing falls; and to retard the effects of aging on mobility via physical strength and fitness training. She has served two consecutive terms on the New York Board for Physical Therapy
