Michael Smith
Mike is a retired Rear Admiral who spent 32 years in the U.S. Navy in a range of operational commands including Commander of the John C. Stennis Aircraft Carrier Strike Group. Following his retirement he co-founded and is the President of The American College of National Security Leaders, a non-partisan national security think-tank. In March of this year, Mike temporarily stepped down from his think-tank role to found and lead National Security Leaders for Biden, an advocacy organization that provides a means for the involvement of over 1000 Senior National Security Republicans, Democrats and Independents including retired Admirals, Generals, Ambassadors, Cabinet Secretaries, Service Chiefs and Secretaries, Intelligence officials, Senior Enlisted, Senior Spouses and volunteers. NSL4B efforts were aimed at swaying undecided voters in battleground states. They established a social media presence reaching over 15 million people, published well over 200 OpEds.
