Previously, Scott was an undercover cop in vice and narcotics in Hollywood, CA. Their story began on a sunny Southern California day in 1986 when they saw each other across a restaurant patio. Fast forward just 20 days and they were on a plane to Vegas to elope, despite the fact that Scott was facing 68 years in prison and awaiting sentencing due to his colorful past and falling too deep undercover.
