David Ball
David S. Ball, RN, BSN has served for the past three years as the MA State Coordinator for “Braver Angels”, a grassroots national organization committed to depolarizing America. David is also currently teaching virtual immersive learning. His nursing career included 26 years as an Air Force flight nurse with positions in teaching hospitals in critical care, Interventional Radiology, and the ED. Each environment from the battlefield and military treatment facility to community and tertiary teaching hospitals has its own culture and methods of effective communication. The ability to reach past his “tribe”, be it Officer/Enlisted, Nursing Service, or political party, fostered improved understanding, trust and translates to better patient care. He appeared on Once a Nurse, Always a Nurse, January 7, 2019 for an Episode on Conflict Communication.
