Dr. Mara Catherine Harvey
Dr. Mara Catherine Harvey is a senior leader in finance with 20 years of experience in wealth management. She is dedicated to helping clients have more impact with their wealth—as families, entrepreneurs, philanthropists, and investors. Committed to advancing equality in finance, empowering women financially and making gender equality investable, Mara is an advocate for SDG 5—Achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls—and a published author. Her latest publications are Women and Risk - Rewriting the Rules (2018) and a series of 6 children’s books on money, equality and sustainability: A Smart Way To Start (2018, 2020). With the belief that money is a transmission of values, she dedicates her free time to advancing children’s financial literacy to shape a more sustainable future. Mara holds a doctorate with highest honours (summa cum laude) in Political Economy from the University of Fribourg, speaks English, Italian, French, and German, and lives in Zurich, Switzerland.
