Tom Horan
Tom Horan is an attorney, focusing his practice on financial restructuring and bankruptcy litigation, representing debtors and official unsecured creditors’ committees in complex Chapter 11 proceedings; counseling secured creditors, trustees, unsecured creditors’, and debtor-in-possession lenders; and representing clients in preference and fraudulent transfer proceedings. Tom serves as vice president, communications & information technology, for the American Bankruptcy Institute. He was named a “Rising Star” by Super Lawyers and has an AV rating from Martindale Hubble. Along the way, thanks to the unusual intersections between sovereign citizens and chapter 11 cases, Tom has developed an extensive knowledge of sovereign citizens. Tom earned his J.D., cum laude, from St. John’s University School of Law and his M.A. and B.A. from Fordham University.
