Having worn many hats in his career, he attributes much of his successes to an upbringing shaped by the values of his parents and the Navy. His parents taught him to never let someone tell him what his limitations would be and that he could achieve anything if he was willing to commit to it and put forth the effort. The navy gave him core values that he resonated with which are: Honor which in the Navy means to Conduct oneself in the highest ethical manner in all relationships. This has to do with honesty, respect, being responsible for your actions and standing by your word. It also means remembering the privilege of serving. Courage Meeting the professional demands of my profession and make decisions in the best interest of those I serve, without regard to personal consequences. More importantly, This also means that you possess the moral and mental strength to do what is right, even in the face of personal or professional adversity.
