Dr. Ann Scanlon McGinity

Dr. Ann Scanlon McGinity most recently held the position of System Chief Nurse Executive at The University of Michigan Health System in Ann Arbor, Michigan. Prior to that, Ann served for two years as Chief Operating Officer of Houston Methodist Global Services where she was the Executive lead on activating the King Abdullah Center for Oncology and Liver Disease at King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Center in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Ann served 10 years as the Chief Nurse Executive and Senior Vice President of Operations for the Houston Methodist Hospital where she oversaw the hospitals four-time designation as a Magnet Hospital. Dr. Scanlon McGinity is a Fellow in the American Academy of Nursing and served two terms to the Board of Regents at Texas Woman’s University. She is the recipient of numerous honors and awards and is an accomplished writer and global lecturer.
