Cynthia Garrett has broken barriers throughout her career as a network television host. In 2000, Garrett became the first African-American woman to host a network late-night show, NBC’s LATER w/ Cynthia Garrett. Currently, she hosts and produces The Sessions w/ Cynthia Garrett airing weekly around the world on the top faith and family network, TBN. She is seen regularly on FOX News’ ‘The Ingraham Angle’ and ‘The Story with Martha McCallum.’ A prolific writer, Garrett contributes opinion pieces and editorials to prominent publications like Newsweek and is the author of two books, Prodigal Daughter: A Journey Home to Identity and I Choose Victory: Moving From Victim To Victor. A highly sought-after speaker, ordained minister and founder of Cynthia Garrett Ministries & The Bernard Garrett Sr. Foundation, Garrett is also a graduate of the University of Southern California Law School and holds a certificate in comparative law from Oxford University.
