Mary Ann Osborne, DNP, FNP

Mary Ann is President & owner of the Institute for Integral Health. She earned a BSN from the University of NC at Charlotte. In 1982 she joined the Army Nurse Corps & in 1986 graduated from the Army’s Adult Nurse Practitioner program. She obtained a MS degree as a family nurse practitioner from University of SC in 1991. Following her Army career, she became the first nurse practitioner to graduate from the Fellowship in Integrative Medicine at the University of AZ. Her Doctor of Nursing Practice in 2010 is from the University of CO, Denver. Currently she practices Integrative Medicine in Colorado Springs, CO. Dr. Osborne has been adjunct professor of Integrative Health at the University of Washington and University of Portland Schools of Nursing. She has lectured and published on the topic of Integrative Health & Nursing. Her research has focused on the use of CAM in the military as well as the Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction program in female survivors of breast cancer.
