Don Young is the COO for Yash Technologies America and Managing Partner of c5mi. Yash Technologies is a full-service global IT provider, while c5mi solves manufacturing and supply chain challenges by merging people, process and technology. Yash and c5mi converge Information Technology with Operational Technology to create a live manufacturing environment or “Common Operational Picture” focused on delivering business outcomes. Prior to Yash and c5mi, Don spent 12 years with Caterpillar Inc. leading a $1.5B+ product group with 11 factories across the globe and over 1,500 employees. Don is passionate about the digitization of manufacturing and supply chain processes and the utilization of real or near-time data. He and his team believe that accelerating the development of these capabilities will provide organizations the competitive edge required to lead and win in the future.
