Matt Barrett is the co-founder of US CyberDome (https://uscyberdome.com/), a non-partisan non-profit dedicated to improving cybersecurity within political campaigns and party committees, as well as the think tanks and vendors that support them. Matt’s efforts at US CyberDome increase confidence in election outcomes by sponsoring donor and grant-funded cybersecurity services within the campaign community. Matt co-founded US CyberDome along with Joseph Drissel and Mary Dickinson, and participates in US CyberDome’s daily operation along with Executive Director pro tem, Air Force Brigadier General (retired) Francis X. Taylor. Matt previously led the Framework for Improving Critical Infrastructure Cybersecurity (Cybersecurity Framework) program for the National Institute of Standards and Technology. Matt’s awareness and education campaigns propelled the Cybersecurity Framework to one of the world’s most popular cybersecurity risk management approaches.
