Howard Gold has been writing the No-Nonsense Investing column for MarketWatch for ten years, He also writes about retirement and college planning and does Q&As with leading investors and thinkers. Earlier, Howard was the founding editor of Barron's Online and ran that pioneering website for ten years. A business journalist for 30 years, he also has written for Barron's, Forbes, Money and USA Today, He got his BA in philosophy from Swarthmore College and won a Knight-Bagehot Fellowship in Business and Economics Journalism from Columbia University, where he went on to get an MBA in finance. A winner of the Gerald Loeb Award for Distinguished Business and Financial Journalism, he has been a Loeb Awards judge for the last 15 years.
