Bo Dean
BIO: L.S. “Bo” Dean Jr., serves as well as lives in New Hanover County Government professionally as a Senior HR Analyst for Training and Development with the over 1800 public servants we are fortunate enough to have in this county. Bo is a CRM Certified educator and has embraced resilience education as a means to permeate public sector work to enable higher degrees of wellness for those that serve as well as a greater degree of compassion and connection to those being served. In his private life, he has had the blessings to be involved with and a part of his local New Hanover Regional hospital foundation, The Wilmington Housing Authority as a Commissioner, the chair and member of the Wilmington Parks Advisory Board, the founding executive director and now announcer for the Miracle League of Wilmington, past member of the boards of Coastal Horizons for Substance Use Disorders and Treatment, Wilmington Health Access for Teens, Cape Fear Clinic and other organizations, as well a proud member of the Wilmington Rotary. If he is not on a microphone for an event, running on the beach, or collecting shells, he spends every precious minute with his better half of over 25 years, Dr. Michael Freeze and their lab, Jax.
