Lucy Ruddle, IBCLC
Lucy Ruddle is an IBCLC and author who lives on the South Coast of England. After five years of volunteering as a peer and breastfeeding counselor, Lucy became an IBCLC in 2018. Lucy has a thriving private practice where she counsels international clients and offers supervision and support to those preparing to sit for the IBCLC exam. Lucy’s first book, Relactation: A Guide to Rebuilding Your Milk Supply, was born from her own breastfeeding experiences. Her most recent book, Mixed Up: Combination Feeding by Choice or Necessity, addresses the issues families face when feeding their baby a combination of breastmilk and formula—either by choice or through circumstance. As a single mother of two neurodiverse boys, Lucy understands the challenges of motherhood and aims to offer holistic support to all families providing any human milk to their children.
