Chief Executive Officer & Director of Vision Marine Technologies, Inc., (NASDAQ: VMAR), the world’s leader in Electrifying waterways and reducing pollution with the first fully electric outboard motor that combines an advanced battery pack, inverter, and high-efficiency motor. A business meeting with real estate powerhouse Robert Ghetti in 2014 led to acquiring CEBC (Canadian Electric Boat Company) and working in restoring, building boats and turning them into floating works of art. A few months later, these boats were a hit sensation at the International Fort Lauderdale Boat Show. Alex quickly realized the impact and importance of electrifying waterways worldwide, they put the pieces and team in place to assist in rebranding and listing the company on Nasdaq for accelerating this mission. Vision Marine Technologies introduced the first fully electric outboard 180HP integrated outboard powertrain system that is built with a proprietary union assembly between the transmission and the electric motor design and uses an extensive control software (E-Motion).
