Missy Travis
Missy Travis is the founder of IP&C Consulting LLC, a consulting company that assists other Infection Preventionists, business owners, and sports teams develop an effective infection prevention program. She has 20 years of experience focusing on infection prevention techniques. She has utilized her skills as a Registered Nurse and Infection Preventionist in a variety of settings including Acute Care Hospitals, Large Teaching University Medical Centers, Inpatient Rehabilitation Hospitals, Sports (Nashville Predators), and Public Health Settings (CDC Foundation). She has served as President for the Middle Tennessee Association for Professionals in Infection Control (APIC) Chapter twice since 2006. She has also served in other chapter leadership positions as well as sitting on the Board of Directors. She has presented three scientific abstract posters at National Meetings. She has created educational courses, IP Mentor, as part of her consulting business. She has also hosted multiple online workshops and webinars.
