Jonathan Sommers
Jonathan Sommers is a filmmaker/producer and testicular cancer survivor turned patient advocate. He oversees Digital Health Networks' (DHN) originals studio and serves on the Digital Engagement Committee for SWOG Cancer Research Network, an international cancer clinical trials network supported by the National Cancer Institute. At DHN, he produces content including programming highlighting NCI clinical trials, issues facing the adolescent and young adult cancer community, and patient rights. His advocacy work includes creating the USC Norris Cancer Center’s & UCLA’s testicular cancer initiative that reformed the Los Angeles Unified School District’s health education curriculum and providing peer counseling to numerous cancer patients.
