Mark Parsells is Founder and Managing General Partner of Montpelier Ventures where he coaches CEOs, advises lower-middle market companies in both buy and sell-side M&A, and is a professional board advisor. He is a member of the Marshall Goldsmith 100 Coaches and certified in both stakeholder-center and talent-to-value coaching. Mark’s career has spanned everything from successfully running major, global multi-billion-dollar divisions for American Express, Bank One (Chase) and Citigroup as well as being Chair and CEO of three private equity and venture backed FinTech businesses. He has served on more than 20 public, private, and non-profit boards, written for major business publications, and lectured at some of the world’s top business school on leadership and management. Mark is an alumnus of Harvard Business School’s General Manager Program, has an MBA from Cornell University’s Johnson Graduate School of Management in General Management and Marketing, an MBA from KU Leuven in Belgium in finance and economics and a BA in Political Science from Emory University. Mark is passionate about his family, friends, international travel, chess, lacrosse, tennis, paddle tennis, and reading.
