Eileen Torres

Eileen Torres is President of Eileen Torres Productions. An advocate for gender equality, Eileen implores women to pay attention, take action, and embrace sisterhood. A self-described spiritualist, Eileen lives by the Golden Rule. She believes we are our sister’s keeper. Best known for her work in the salsa music and dance industry, Eileen has created Latin-themed events for the Kennedy Center, National Geographic, various Smithsonian Museums, arts complexes, and organizations. She was contracted by Starbucks Coffee Company to compose liner notes and select music for the Mambo Mio CD. Eileen was an Associate Producer for the short film, MANO, and an Executive Producer of SHINE, a film nominated for best choreography. A community leader, Ms. Torres is president of the Hispanic Fund and sits on the boards of two foundations. One foundation recruits musicians in grades 8-12 for the only Latin jazz music camp in the country.
