Laurie Strand
Laurie Strand is a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW) and has worked in school-based mental health for over 10 years, most recently as the mental health coordinator and therapist for the Blaine County School District, a small district in the mountains of south central Idaho. She recently started her own business called Resiliency Rising, which utilizes the research-informed Community Resiliency Model (CRM), offering individuals and organizations tools to heal and thrive and become trauma and resiliency informed. She is passionate in bringing the CRM skills to everyone and becoming the first CRM community and State! Laurie also has a small private practice and is certified in the clinical model, the Trauma Resiliency Model. Laurie is very involved in her community, serving on the board of The Hunger Coalition as the chair of the Advocacy Committee and volunteering her time as the co-chair of the 5B Suicide Prevention Alliance. She coaches middle school mountain biking, loves skiing and playing in the mountains and spending time with her family and furry children.
