Meenal Lele
Meenal Lele, is founder & CEO of Lil Mixins, an early allergen introduction solution. Her first transformation occurred when she decided to leave her work in the medical device industry (she was on the founding team of two successful start-ups in orthopedics and vascular medicine) to create Lil Mixins. Lil Mixins combines her deep clinical & device experience and her chemical engineering & business degrees from the University of Pennsylvania, with her goal to end food allergies that affect 40 million Americans, like her son. Today, her company is going through a transformation, as she is transitioning from a product focused company to an education focused company. She realizes now that the company must evolve to address the true problem parents face – lack of knowledge of ways to prevent disease and research backed methods to do just that. Lele will continue to sell Lil Mixins (currently available in Target), expand her line of products this fall (with prenatal probiotic supplements, breastfeeding supplements, and formula supporting supplements), launch an educational podcast this fall featuring doctors, researchers and experts in the space, and will be releasing a book on the topic published by Penguin Random House in the fall of 2022. This evolution of her brand and business still fosters her initial mission and vision to stop allergies before they start.
