Eddie Goodman
Eddie Goodman believes, “Raise a child up in the right direction and even though we sometimes deviate, when that child grows up, we will change direction and get back on the right path.” Eddie started the Conflict Resolution Support Team (CRST) Safe Schools Program. The CRST is designed to keep kids safe, instill positive discipline and provide structure. Eddie believed so much in CRST, that in 2005 he ran his program at Locke High School in Watts CA for free for one year. The principal was so impressed, he asked the LA Unified School District to fund the CRST. As a result of the extra funding, CRST expanded to include a Saturday mentor program. Eddie reconnected with his sole purpose in life and created the Earn Our Trust app that promotes African American owned businesses that are making a positive impact within the community. Eddie understands that in order to make a difference, you have to support businesses that believe in recycling the resource back into the community.
