David Payette
In 2013, David Payette left his job at an Apple Store to start a web design business called Payette Forward. Figuring that "having a blog" would sound enticing, David wrote the only blog post he ever intended to write, and forgot about it. Six months later, that blog post, Why Does My iPhone Battery Die So Fast? Here's The Fix!, went viral. 5 million people read it in a single week in 2014. That spark of success led David to relocate to Maui where he worked as a WordPress and SEO consultant, all while continuing to write iPhone help articles for his website. As traffic to PayetteForward.com continued to grow, David stepped back from client work entirely to focus on growing the business. In 2016, David relocated to Upstate New York where he had the good fortune to meet David Lynch, a pool attendant with a boatload of talent for writing and technology. David P. and David L. hit it off immediately, and began working together on Payette Forward projects over the next few months. In 2017, David L. joined the team full-time. Payette Forward would not be what it is today without him.
