Courtney Shihabuddin

Courtney Shihabuddin is a doctorally-prepared, Board Certified Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner in Columbus, OH. With over 11 years as a nursing professional, she serves as a mentor, keynote speaker, advocate for young women with breast cancer, educator and social media leader. Dr. Shihabuddin is respected for her authenticity and relatable content focusing on her breast cancer journey to mom life to nurse practitioner chronicles. Courtney completed a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies from Northwestern University in Evanston, IL, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Seton Hall University in South Orange, NJ, a Master of Science in Nursing from Rutgers University in Newark, NJ, and a Doctor of Nursing Practice from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in Oklahoma City, OK. She serves as a Young Advocate for the nonprofit organization Living Beyond Breast Cancer and is an assistant professor of clinical nursing at The Ohio State university. She is the mother to two boys, John, age 6, and Ben, age 3.5.
