Theodore Johnson

Theo Johnson is a graduate of Urbana High School in Urbana, Illinois, and a student at the University of Chicago. He served for two years on the Illinois State Board of Education Student Advisory Council, where he researched achievement gaps, tutoring, and the US Census. During high school, he was involved in community organizations like Urbana High School Habitat for Humanity and the Champaign-Urbana Youth Climate Justice Forum, served on the campaign of Scott Bennett for State Senate, and served as an instructional assistant in the Future City after-school program for middle school students. In college, Theo plans to study Philosophy and Fundamentals. He enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading novels and literary criticism, and walking around different neighborhoods.
