Greg Shill

Greg Shill is an Associate Professor at the University of Iowa College of Law, which he joined in 2017 following a fellowship at Harvard Law School. This semester (spring 2022), he is also a Visiting Professor at Washington University School of Law in St. Louis. Greg studies firms, cities, and transportation. His scholarship has been published or is forthcoming in leading journals, including the Harvard Law Review Forum and the N.Y.U. Law Review, and his commentary has been featured in various media, including The New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Washington Post, The Atlantic, NPR, and NBC. Greg holds a J.D. from Harvard Law School, a B.A. from Columbia University, and a Master’s from the Jewish Theological Seminary. Prior to entering academia, he clerked on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit and worked in private practice in New York and London.
