Karen Cody
Bi-national, Karen has lived in Switzerland for 40 years, working her entire career throughout EMEA and in the last 6 years across the globe. Karen has over 30 years as an HR professional, developing, coaching and training talent at all levels of an organization. She has successfully supported the professional development and personal growth of individuals and teams, from trainees and university graduates to mid-level and senior management, including C-Suite executives. She works with highly matrixed international organizations, from manufacturing sites to corporate headquarters, universities as well as non-profits. “I love leadership and talent development! At the end of a workshop when my clients say they’ve learned valuable lessons, techniques, and tools for their personal and professional development that they can apply immediately in the roles and their private lives, I’m thrilled! I have the happiest job in the HR function! Karen created her own business at the end of 2015 at the age of 55, after a restructuring in her company and transfer of her function to a central European country. With Cody International, Karen focuses on leadership and talent development, and she has a particular passion for supporting women. As she says “in my early career, I didn’t have female role models at work, I didn’t have the support of coaching and mentoring nor a clear career path. So, I am passionate about giving to women what I wished I had had in the beginning of my career.
