Jim has over 27 years of experience in information technology. He has worked on a wide-ranging variety of technologies, which include Java, Lotus Notes, HTML, JavaScript, PHP, MYSQL, PDF, Microsoft Office, multiple packaged development/technology toolkits, in addition to legacy mainframe technologies. Jim has led teams of accessibility specialists in conducting digital accessibility assessment and technical remediation support across industries, including health care, manufacturing, financial, education, and technology. Jim’s subject matter expertise drives solutions for accessibility of websites, mobile apps, kiosks, and documentation. As an individual who is blind, Jim is expert level in assistive technology, such as JAWS, NVDA, Narrator, Voiceover, and Talkback. In addition, Jim has impacted the digital accessibility engagement of tens of thousands of business and technology experts by delivering digital accessibility training.
