Dr. Shirley Madhere, Holistic Plastic Surgeon
Dr. Shirley Madhère, MD is a New York-based holistic plastic surgeon, specializing in facial and breast reconstructive procedures and body contouring, and the founder of Holistic Plastic Surgery, a multidisciplinary aesthetics practice that integrates nutrition and wellness into patient care. Dr. Madhère’s philosophy and holistic approach to cosmetic surgery is centered on the belief that external beauty is a reflection of the overall health and wellness of the mind and body. She offers a combination of wellness and cosmetic counseling before recommending any surgical procedures and empowers her patients to seek life-affirming cosmetic treatments that are guided by a personal definition of beauty and self. Dr. Madhère is a graduate of the Dartmouth Medical School and Brown University School of Medicine combined program and she has a Master’s Degree from the Brown University Graduate School. She completed both a full residency in general surgery (burns, trauma, hand surgery, scars, etc.) and a second subsequent residency in plastic surgery at the Montefiore Medical Center. In pursuit of a robust education, Dr. Madhère completed subspecialty training in Cosmetic Surgery at the New York Eye & Ear Infirmary as well as a 1-year educational program on holistic nutrition at the Institute of Integrative Nutrition. Dr. Madhère is also the founder of the elevated aesthetic medical mobile service, Jet Set Beauty RX, where she offers injectables, Vitaglow facial infusions, peels & more.
