Patrick Laing
Patrick Laing, founder and managing partner of Certainty Management, started the firm to help create more certainty in the lives of his clients. He is responsible for much of the vision, direction, and heart of the company. With 30+ years of business and management experience, he brings a broad range of expertise and insight to the Certainty team. A former Dale Carnegie instructor, a member of Vistage Worldwide, a Sandler President’s Club member, and an ACA Executive Board Member, he has trained under multiple management experts including Tony Robbins and others. While working for Delta Airlines Corporation, Patrick received the company’s most prestigious national award, the Delta Client Service Citation. An honorably discharged U.S. Army veteran, Patrick held a top-secret security clearance and worked in counter-intelligence/counter-terrorism for several years. He also worked as an interpreter (in Italian) after serving two years as a full-time church service volunteer in Central and Southern Italy. He also taught for three years at the world-renowned MTC in Provo, Utah and received his B.A. degree in English from Brigham Young University-Provo. Happily married to Tessha Thomas Laing, Patrick is passionate about his family, his company, and his growing team. He cares deeply about helping others stay more protected, be more profitable and accomplish greater good.
