Dr. Dot Maver is an educator and peacebuilder whose keynote is inspiring cooperation on behalf of the common good. Dot is co-founder of Global Silent Minute, National Peace Academy USA (NPA), River Phoenix Center for Peacebuilding (RPCP), and Global Alliance for Ministries and Infrastructures of Peace, and is co-author of Conscious Education: The Bridge to Freedom. Dot is a Fellow with the World Business Academy; board member with Lifebridge Foundation, Garden of Light, NPA, RPCP; and serves on the International Cities of Peace Advisory Council, the Inamori International Center for Ethics and Excellence, and One Planet Peace Forum Advisory Boards, and is an advisor to Compassion Games. 2005–2007 Executive Director of The Peace Alliance and Campaign for a US Department of Peace; National Campaign Manager for Kucinich for President 2004. The Maver Method: Secrets of Softball Hitting Success, along with the Ageless Wisdom, informs her work in education, politics and grassroots community organizing, applying principles of peacebuilding utilizing a shared responsibility and shared leadership model.
